Yes, some things come easier to some media. But art often comes from working against the grain.
We train writers through exercises, just like musicians. We need to do our scales.
We need to show proficiency -- to the world, and to ourselves. Characters we love. Cliffhangers. Incredibly erotic scenes. Cream pies and clowns. Villains. Schlemiels.
